I am an ex-pupil of Darrick Wood School leaving with 7 GCSEs. I studied GNVQ Intermediate IT at Croydon College for one year and gained a Distinction before going to the London College of Printing to do a BTEC Digital Origination Course while I was a trainee Apple Mac operator at Dad's printing company for 2 years. I spent 3 years working for Tesco Internet Home Shopping Service. In 2005 I passed my European Computer Driving Licence course at City Lit & Level 2 City & Guilds Web Design at Croydon College with a Distinction. In 2000 I took up the gruelling Trans-Borneo 225 mile cycle challenge to raise money for SENSE along with David Rose (past Treasurer) cycling in heat of up to 40C with 100% humidity. In the end I raised an amazing £4500 with generous help from family & friends. I was a Treasurer & Secretary of Bromley Deaf Social Club which I helped to set up in September 2001 with 3 other deaf friends. For more information go to Deaf Club. Having travelled along the east coast of Australia & visiting 2005 Deafympics in Melbourne, now I'm back home working full time at St Mary's Hospital as Medical Records Clerk in London Paddington which I'm enjoying. I was on the committee for about 6 years before they asked me to take up the Chair role which I accepted in 2004 because Bromley Chain played big part in my life when I was a youngster also my mother is on the committee as a minute-taker. If you would like to get in touch regarding Bromley Chain, email me.
